The New Communities In Schools Wilmington Affiliate

Communities In Schools of Delaware (CISDE) has a new Wilmington Affiliate Office serving the Greater Wilmington area.   The Wilmington Affiliate oversees the majority of CISDE sites;  William Penn High School, McKean High School, Dickinson High School, EastSide Charter School, Newark High School, and AI Middle School. The Affiliate will operate under the CISDE State Office 501 (c)(3) and will undergo the rigorous Total Quality System (TQS) Standards Accreditation process in 2011. Regional Director Kia Lockhart, a CISDE veteran, first served Communities in Schools in Charlotte, North Carolina and piloted the first CIS site in Milford, Delaware in 2011-2012.
